As the senior copywriter at Aqua, I work on a variety of tourism and hospitality accounts, including Visit Lauderdale, the Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) for Greater Fort Lauderdale, The Bradenton Area CVB and the Charlotte County CVB. I spearhead the thinking on integrated campaigns, providing copy and visual directions that surprise and delight across every brand touchpoint and collaborate with the rest of the creative team to bring those ideas to life in breakthrough ways that achieve tangible results.
Sr. Copywriter, Feld Entertainment, Palmetto, FL | November 2018 – March 2020
At Feld, I came up with engaging concepts and wrote copy for a variety of clients including Disney On Ice, Monster Jam, Supercross, Jurassic World Live Tour, Slime City, Trolls The Experience and Sesame Street Live. My work includes social media campaigns, TV, radio, video and a brand refresh and a new website, FeldEntertainment.com.

Madcap Creative is my part-time freelance business where I write and create integrated branding solutions for a variety of clients, including TradeWinds Island Resorts, Marriott Vacations Worldwide, Carmelita’s Rum, The Lure, The Kitchen at Green Springs, The Artisan, Ava, Bees Learning, The Villages Health, Madico Window Films and Rhino 7 Franchise Development.
Associate Creative Director, SK+G, Las Vegas, NV | December 2013 – December 2014
At SK+G, I was part of the creative team that launched the Baha Mar resort brand, writing for all aspects of the positioning and campaign, including website, print ads, television concepts and helping to name more than 80 entities within the resort. Other clients I wrote for included Vdara Hotel & Spa and several Belmond (formerly Orient Express) resorts and boutique hotels including the ‘21’ Club, El Encanto, The Inn at Perry Cabin, La Samanna and Maroma Resort & Spa.
Associate Creative Director, Paradise Advertising & Marketing, St. Petersburg, FL | January 2008 – December 2013
At this busy agency specializing in tourism, I helped manage the creative staff and freelancers, served as head copywriter on most accounts ($17M annual billings), handled broadcast production and presented/sold creative work. My five years of work on the Naples, Marco Island, Everglades Convention & Visitors Bureau achieved ongoing successful results, with increases in visitation each year. Other clients included Seminole County CVB, Amelia Island CVB, All Children’s Hospital, Museum of Fine Arts and City of St. Petersburg.
Senior Copywriter, PyperPaul+Kenney, Tampa, FL | February 2006 – December 2006
Concepted and wrote copy for multiple award-winning campaigns (7 Gold and 11 Silver ADDY awards) and PP+K was named winner of the AAAA O’Toole Award – one of the top three creative agencies in the U.S. with fewer than 100 employees. (Note: my time here was cut short as I switched to freelance during/post pregnancy.) Main clients: Sweetbay Supermarkets, Circle K, The Florida Aquarium, Reeves Import Motor Cars, American Heart Association and Sumatra Coffee Company.
Senior Copywriter, Clarke Advertising & Public Relations, Sarasota, FL | April 2005 – February 2006
My efforts at Clarke gained me a 2005 Copywriter of the Year award and Best of Show from the Suncoast Advertising Federation. Main clients: Black Diamond Strings, ClosetMaid, Corvus International, Lakewood Ranch, Sarasota Memorial Healthcare System and Tampa Bay Workforce Alliance.
